HomeBack                            11th Hole - Hame

Par 4  - 377 Yards

Similar to the last, you must consider if you have the power to carry the burn at about 210 yards from the tee.

If you attempt this, the right side (a slightly longer hit) is safer because of a group of trees to the left.

Short of the burn leaves a long hit uphill to the green, and if you are too far left off the tee, this will be over a group of tall trees. This can put the green out of reach for many unless you try a spectacular long draw around them!

Carrying the burn is a major advantage as it seems to shorten the hole considerably. After the burn the fairway starts to rise towards the green with trees to the right and rear of it.

Also protected by a bunker, the 18th green has a good slope on it, making putting from above or to the side of the hole very tricky. A superb  green to finish on as this slope ensures there may be drama right until the last put drops.
