| A large tee, adjacent to the
Professional shop, allows several teeing off positions, any of which
give a good view down the first fairway, towards the green. Trees line the right hand side of the
fairway to catch a pushed or sliced drive. A snap hook will also find
trees or heavy rough to the left however a decent tee shot down the left
will usually still leave a shot to the green.

Once you have cleared the hill at
about 190 yards the fairway runs off to the left so the safest drive is
to the right of the fairway as the ball will usually run down towards
the middle. The right of the fairway also gives a better approach to the
green, which from here is on the same elevation, giving a better view
and run in.
The green itself is fairly long and
level, but guarded by bunkers both left and right. Any shot missed to
the left of the green can leave a nasty chip over the bunker to the
green, which from this point will be above eye-level. |
