Eastwood has a proud tradition as a friendly club, and as such are delighted to support teams in a number of leagues. This gives members the opportunity to meet with, and compete against, members from other clubs. Our teams are represented by a wide spectrum of ages and handicaps.
Brand Putter Team (Gents):- The best gents players Eastwood has to offer competing against 9 other South Glasgow clubs in the Brand Putter League. This is played by a team of eight, playing scratch match play.
2011 - Eastwood crowned winners of the Brand Putter league
Greenlees League (Ladies):- A West of Scotland League with 3 divisions, competed for by the best lady golfers. Nine ladies form the Eastwood team, playing scratch match play.
2011 – Eastwood finished a creditable mid table in the 2nd division
Fields In Trust (Gents over 50s):- Known as the “Friendly League”, this charitable league comprises the same local teams as the BP above, but is competed for in a six man team playing handicap fourball, maximum handicap 12. Players interested in taking part are asked to make themselves known, and as many as possible will get a game in the Fields In Trust League.

Glasgow South Ladies Golf League (Ladies):- This league comprises 9 local clubs and is designed to accommodate ladies who are working through the week. A team of six ladies compete in scratch singles match play.
2011 – Eastwood retain the title for a second year
Fleming Watson League (Juniors):- Our finest young golfers play against their counterparts in the Brand Putter clubs. Fleming Watson League matches comprise a team of 6 Juniors playing scratch match play.

Friendly Matches :- Both our Ladies Section, and Gents over 60s play a number of friendly matches against their counterparts in local clubs. These are very much friendly games, and players interested in taking part are asked to make themselves known. As many different players as possible will get a game.
